Set the job you want to be the default

When you first start the app, it may show All as the setting for the "Show" menu.

If you leave this as All Jobs, then when you create a new entry or start the timer, you will need to choose the job each time.  However, if you change the job to a default job, then it will use this job to automatically populate the timer and new entry form.

Choose a job in the "Show" menu that you want to be the default job shown in the timer and the new entry form.

Now that My Fun Job is in the Show menu, if I start a new timer, or a new entry, it will be the default one automatically chosen.
